Cristiana Ferradaz

Doctor at Clínica Pêro

OM 64015

Dr. Cristiana Ferradaz graduated in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and adopts a modern and integrative approach in her practice. At Clínica Pêro, Dr. Cristiana offers specialized care in functional and lifestyle medicine and in the treatment of chronic diseases.

With international experience and constant professional development, Dr. Cristiana is dedicated to a medical practice that prioritizes the prevention and treatment of the root causes of diseases, integrating not only the physical component but also mental and emotional aspects, while developing personalized treatment plans for each patient.

Her goal is to assist patients in achieving and maintaining optimal health through a modern, evidence-based, and prevention-focused medical approach.

"I am known for my ability to question. During my medical residency in anesthesiology, I questioned and recognized the inability of conventional medicine to reach the true origin of chronic disease, its lack of an active role in prevention, and its failure to integrate the human being as a whole (mind-body-spirit). I am an advocate of health-based medicine, passionate about life and living a healthy lifestyle.”

Raphael Sirtoli

Scientific Director of Clínica Pêro

Raphael has always been a curious person, with varied interests and a commitment to understanding how we can all live better and healthier lives. He studied molecular biology and health sciences and is a scientist in the field of evolutionary biology, publishing studies in this area.

Raphael has a vast knowledge of the history of science and medicine and has learned a lot from reading about success stories, but even more from reading about failures in the field. It was then that he realized that there is a lot of outdated, confusing information with little data to make decisions that often become medical and nutritional guidelines. The lesson he learned from studying so many successes and failures was that doing no harm is the most correct and humble attitude that all health professionals should adopt.

"The close collaboration between doctors, scientists and patients at Clínica Pêro makes it unique among medical clinics. I like that very much. Not only is it good for patient care, but it's also rewarding for our scientific team."
